two higher ranks

 

B.C. RCMP officers suspended with pay:

Since 2005: One constable.

Since 2007: Two constables.

Since 2008: Three constables, one corporal.

Since 2009: Chilliwack RCMP Cpl. Michael Nelson, awaiting criminal trial for alleged perjury in a 2007 dangerous-driving case.

This year: One staff-sergeant, one sergeant, one corporal, one constable — including Kamloops Const. Kevin Roy, charged with two assault counts for alleged excessive force in arresting a man and woman in January; and Penticton Cpl. Andre Turcotte, charged with perjury in January and previously convicted of assault causing bodily harm for a 2007 off-duty, road-rage attack; plus three Kamloops constables and one corporal alleged to have watched live video of two inmates having lesbian jailhouse sex.
